  Well since you asked:


   I am mother to two amazingly interesting and wonderful children and to one excessively neurotic chihuahua.   I am also a wife to my best friend, partner-in-crime and most creative chef I know.


  I have been a wife and a mother for the last eight (almost nine) years and sometimes it's hard to define myself in any other way but if I had to I would say that I am a creative foodie/ DIY wannabe who just realized that she has to make time for the things she loves!  I am full of revelations here but most of the time you can catch those on my other site Year of the Tortoise.

 Pumpkin Seeds to Pie is now transforming into a collective of information for food, crafts, activities and gardening that my family and I have found to be great fun and sometimes delicious!  I am definitely not Martha Stewart but I love to share things that work in our family and hope that they are great fun for yours too!
